⚙️ Step-by-Step Deletion Guide (Data vs. Account)
In BabbleChart, you have the flexibility to either delete your care data while keeping your caregiver account active, or permanently delete your entire account and all records. Choose the option below that fits your needs.
Clear Care Logs & Profile (In-App)
Want to erase all logged diapers, feedings, sleep schedules, growth percentiles, and AI voice/photo records without losing your BabbleChart caregiver login? Use profile deletion in your app settings.
- 1 Open the BabbleChart app and navigate to the Settings screen (gear icon).
- 2 Scroll to the Account & Profiles section where your child profile cards are listed.
- 3 Tap the Trash Icon (🗑️) right next to your child's profile and confirm.
Delete Account & All Data (In-App)
If you wish to completely close your BabbleChart caregiver account, revoke all co-caregiver sync access, and erase all underlying authentication credentials along with all family logs.
- 1 Open the BabbleChart app and navigate to the Settings screen (gear icon).
- 2 Scroll down to the Caregiver Account section.
- 3 Delete all active child profiles first (`🗑️`), then tap Account Deletion / Log Out to permanently close your account credentials.
Request Deletion via Web / Email
No longer have the app installed? You can request either Data Deletion Only OR Full Account Deletion directly via email from your registered address.
- 1 Send an email from your registered account address to babblechart@gmail.com.
- 2 Specify whether you want to "Delete Care Data Only" or "Delete Entire Account and Data".
- 3 Our system verifies ownership and processes your request within 14 days.

⏱️ Exact Deletion & Retention Schedule
When a deletion request is initiated or a profile is deleted in-app, data is immediately unlinked from your user account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I export my care logs before deleting my account? ▼
Yes! Before you delete your profile or account, you can export all of your baby's care records into a clean, formatted CSV file directly from the in-app Settings screen -> Export Data (CSV) option. Once exported, you can safely proceed with account deletion.
Does deleting my child profile also cancel my Google Play or App Store subscription? ▼
No. In accordance with Apple iTunes and Google Play billing policies, subscriptions are tied directly to your Apple ID or Google Account, not your BabbleChart user login. Deleting your BabbleChart account does not automatically cancel an active auto-renewing subscription. Please ensure you cancel your subscription directly in your iOS App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
What happens if I invited a co-caregiver (e.g., spouse or nanny)? ▼
When you delete a child profile from your account as the primary profile owner, all invited co-caregivers will immediately lose access to that profile and its care logs across their synchronized devices.
